A gratitude log
I went to the conference venue and felt very safe. It was much less crowded than I expected. And I unexpectedly met people I know! I am grateful to God for making everything work out well.
I was worried I would end up eating meat on a Friday but actually avoided it throughout the whole day. I am grateful to God for this.
I traveled in earnest for the first time in years. I was worried about a lot of things, like how stressful and dangerous it would be, but we arrived safe and sound, not too stressfully. I was also worried about whether our accommodation would be accessible enough, and it is and is also nicer than expected. I had prayed to God, and I am so grateful to God for protecting us and making things work out great.
My book finally got published! God made my dream come true. I wanted to be an author when I was younger but gave up on the dream early because I realized I had no talent. But God made my dream come true in the most beautiful way, when I needed it the most, and as something I can do in addition to other things important to me.
He made this whole process so easy. I got picked up by an agent without having to pitch my book to anyone. Then God helped me through logistic obstacles and got me through writer’s block. And He got the deadline extended for me. And He did so many countless other things for me for this book alone.
God made my dream come true. I am not worthy in any way, neither secularly nor religiously. I’m neither talented nor did I work that hard, and I am a wretched sinner, yet God still mercifully and lovingly gave me this awesome gift. I am so, so, so grateful to God for this. I resolve to glorify Him. Thanks be to God!
I received perfect guidance from God. Literally perfect. I was reading the Bible and it was like it was written for me, with specific words about my specific situation. I am so, so, so grateful to God for giving me such lovingly personalized guidance. I am a wretched sinner inclined to sin, and He tries so hard to save me from my sinful self. I am so grateful to God and not worthy.
Actually last night, God also made me repent of my sin. I am so grateful to God for this and not worthy.
My practicing for my presentation went well. I feel better about the presentation. I am grateful to God for this.
My paper got accepted! I know this is all thanks to God and not at all something that I achieved. It’s not just a great gift, but it was also just so easy. God made every step easy, with such a great outcome. I am so, so, so grateful to God for this. I know He has showered me with blessings, like the parable of the talents, and I also know that I currently am not using them for His glory. I repent and resolve to use my existence for His glory.
My game got a couple of comments! I was surprised, because I thought it wouldn’t. They were very nice comments and made me very happy. I am very grateful to God for this.
I had to go to a meeting and was worried that I would be exposed to germs, which is especially worrying since I am planning on going to a conference. What’s worse, I even forgot to tell people that masks are required. But thankfully most people ended up wearing masks, and I don’t think anyone showed symptoms even once. I am so grateful to God for answering my prayers.
I got complimented on my presentation skills again. It made me very happy. I am grateful to God for this.
I was floundering in sin so much. But God pulled me out of it. He gave me perfect and clear guidance yet again through the Bible, homily, prayer, and just at unexpected times. I am so, so sorry to God and so grateful.
I submitted my game to my first game jam ever! I really planned on giving up because I was suddenly so busy, and I’m so grateful to God for making me be able to see it through. I had to fix quite a few problems at the end, and it took a while to compile, but things got fixed fairly easily. I am very happy about this and grateful to God.
I wanted to avoid traveling on a Sunday, and I think we might be able to do so. I am very grateful to God for this.

I was quite stressed because I suddenly have very important things due very soon. This is in addition to the busy week that I already have. But I got the work I needed to get done done and am on track. I am very grateful to God for this.
