I came back from my trip to my alma mater. God answered all of my prayers. I prayed that He protect my family fully and throughout, and He graciously did completely. I was especially worried about being exposed to germs during a talk that I had to give, to the point that I was regretting organizing it. But most people wore masks, no one coughed or sneezed even once, and I felt so safe even when I had to briefly take my mask off. I am so, so grateful to God for answering my prayers so completely. I am not worthy at all.

What’s more, God gave me an amazing gift that I didn’t even think to ask for. I’ve been quite bitter about not having been able to enjoy my full four years of college, which I loved, because of COVID. When going back for this trip, I was worried I would be disappointed. I was not: it was even better than I had remembered. But I realized I had outgrown it and am happy where I am now. It was a wonderful feeling, being happily surprised by how good it was while also realizing that I don’t need to miss it anymore. I needed this closure. I’m so grateful to God for giving it to me. He really gives us more than we think to ask.

I got many bites at the place we were staying and was really worried that they were bedbug bites. But it’s looking unlikely that that’s the case. I am very grateful to God for this.

I went back to campus because I leave tomorrow, and I had a wonderful time, both unexpectedly meeting my professor and also touring pretty places. I also had a long catch up with a friend. I am very grateful to God for making this last day meaningful and great and for answering my prayers. It has been great.

I visited my undergrad campus and met my undergrad professors for the first time in years. It was wonderful. Also, while traveling, we forgot something very important, but the problem got resolved very well. I am very grateful to God for answering all my prayers and for making everything go well.

Someone close to me is going through a rough time. While praying, I suddenly realized, I believe through God, that I should be by their side. So after much deliberation, I sent them a supportive email. Still, I wasn’t sure how they’d take it. Today, I got an extremely kind reply. I am so grateful to God for guiding me to do this good deed.

I met two college friends in San Francisco today, and everything worked out perfectly. I had a delicious lunch before meeting them. They were also running a bit late, which allowed me to have more time to eat lunch. I also had so much fun with them and felt safe. I am so grateful to God for this nice time.

I received amazing and clear guidance from God not once, but twice today, both in regards to today’s Mass readings. They truly helped me to repent. I am not worthy of God helping me be saved. I am so grateful to God for His guidance and for not giving up on me.

I signed with the publisher. I can’t believe it. It is literally a dream come true. When I was around eight years old, I wanted to become a writer, and now I have a book deal. I know for sure that this is not because of my merits, nor a reward for my goodness. No, I am a wretched sinner. It is completely and only a gift from God. I am so grateful to God for this gift. I cannot express how grateful I am. I hope to use this for His glory.

While on campus today, I walked through a grove of magnolias. I loved that time to myself, and it was so beautiful. I am grateful to God for giving me such a nice time. I really must be so much better for Him, and I resolve to change my sinful ways.

Today was the day of my commencement ceremony, which I did not attend because I was worried about the coronavirus. I was worried that I would feel bad about not being able to attend, but I really did not feel bad at all. Also, I managed to do all the work that I needed to do, and I even played a board game with my parents. I am very grateful to God for helping me feel perfectly fine, for helping me get a lot of work done, and for helping me have fun with my parents.

I decided not to go to my commencement ceremony that was postponed for a year, because I am worried about COVID-19. Although I had made my decision, I was feeling very sad, particularly yesterday. I prayed to God asking him for a sign regarding whether or not I should go to my commencement ceremony. Today, I received an email from one of the professors that I wanted to meet. He told me that he won’t be able to make it to the commencement ceremony. This feels like a very clear sign to me. I am very, very grateful to God for this sign. It makes me feel much better.
