I went to visit a former work mentor before she leaves the area, and we had an amazing time catching up. She’s so nice. I’m so grateful to God for making our meeting go safely and well.

I also met two others I met during that internship. I am grateful to God for making me catch both of them even though I hadn’t planned it in advance.

My mom and I then went shopping. I am grateful to God for making it fun and safe.

It seems like my study’s results are pretty good. I am so grateful to God for this.

Because my department is amazingly accommodating, they all wear masks for meetings I attend. I wanted to attend a larger meeting, though, where people other than my group attend. I was worried about being exposed to germs, since people don’t usually wear masks at this larger meeting. But I decided to attend anyway. When I arrived, everyone was wearing masks, just for me! I had prayed to God asking for His protection, and He answered my prayers in the most loving way and perfectly. I am not worthy, and I am so grateful. I am also grateful to God for surrounding me with such loving people. I am also grateful to Our Blessed Virgin Mary for her intercessions.

I received so many happy events from God today! First, I had submitted a paper to an academic journal a couple months ago, and I got a very favorable response! This is my first time ever getting this far on a project. My professors also congratulated me, which made me happy. The journal’s response is wonderful news for me, and I am so grateful to God for this gift. It is all His doing, and I am not worthy.

I had many meetings today and they all went well. I am grateful to God for this.

My professor gave me the opportunity to socialize with another professor who was visiting. My professor takes such good care of me. Her kindness made me so happy. Also, my meeting with the visiting professor went well. I am so grateful to God for all of this.

I had a very happy and wonderful day.

First, I had a research project I wanted to do, and I pitched it to a professor whom I really want to work with. He agreed to do it! This made me really happy, as I had wanted to work with him for a long time, and I am able to now do so on a project I want to do.

Separately, I was accepted to a volunteering opportunity recently. Without my knowing, a professor told a bunch of other professors about this, and they all congratulated me. This made me so happy. I kept smiling.

I went shopping with my mom for her shoes. She got good ones on sale. I also unexpectedly found a pair of shoes that I really liked, as well as some cute hand sanitizer and a gift for a friend. Our shopping spree was successful.

On our way home, we picked up some yummy fried chicken and coffee. It was delicious.

I am so grateful to God for this happiness-filled day and all of these blessings. I am not worthy.

I had sinned terribly the day before, but God still showered me with blessings. I am not worthy. I am so grateful.

I submitted my first real research paper to an academic journal! I know that this is God’s gift, and I am so grateful for it. None of “my” achievements are mine, only God’s. I am so grateful and resolve to use them for His glory.

I received perfect and amazingly clear guidance from God again about my sin. I am honestly amazed at how specific His guidance is, even when I get it from Gospel reflection newsletters and homilies and such. It is just so obviously specific. I am grateful to God for making it so clear. I used to ask that He make things so clear for me so that I cannot deny it, and He has graciously done so for me. I am so grateful to God for guiding me away from my sin. I am a wretched sinner and not worthy.

I was behind on grading but managed to catch up. I’m very grateful to God for this.

I was in a slightly bad mood for a couple of days, but I’m better now. I’m very grateful to God for this.

On that note, for the last couple of years, I had major mood swings that were difficult to go through. They seem to have subsided. I am so, so grateful to God for this.

My mom and I bought a Christmas tree. We got a pretty one, and our outing was fun. When we got back, we decorated the outside of our house. I am grateful to God for this fun bonding time.

I had a difficult task to do for my research project, and I managed to do it in time. I am grateful to God for this.
